There are many types of love

The adventures of our twenties
When love was fresh / and scary

For most young men, it was action
For most young women, it was romance

But those were simulations
And neither was reality

For nerds of both genders
It was role-playing

Remember, I said it was scary
Playing roles made it less so

It made it exciting and fun
But also not real

Some found love playing sports
Others solving puzzles

I took the strategy route
Until I learned to surrender
